Paragon Ketch and Short Stories

Why has there not been an update to the comic in...forever?

I've been busy! I had to take on more freelance comic work to pay the bills. Having one's own webcomic is awesome unless you have bills to pay and no "normal day job." I'm attempting to continue working on Paragon Ketch while working on polishing my Prose writing (and attempt to get a job writing a prose serial).

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, because I'm not. Life is work. Day to day, month to month, life is survival. I've been increadibly lucky in that I have been able to make ends meet, even when it's been barely doing so, by creating art for others. One day perhaps I will be in a position where I can dedicate more time to my own comic pursuits, but unfortunately that time is not now.

"But Neila! You just told us you've been spending time writing prose! You could use that time to draw Paragon Ketch!"

I could if my arm didn't feel like it was going to fall off. I draw with my right hand, but I can type with my left hand and keep creating. I've made an experimental Short Story Writing Blog: That I will be posting short stories that I'm writing anyway on. Some of these short stories will likely be Paragon Ketch related so it's a good place to keep an eye on!

Now I will go back to typing up a short story and try to stave off beating myself up for not coloring the next Paragon Ketch page.
