Oh Geeze I forgot to mention the Comic Fundraiser I'm running!

I completely forgot to mention on here that I'm running a comic Fundraiser for a short comic I managed to draw in my spare time last year.

Sharkpony and the Glitter Riders:

Sharkpony and the Glitter Riders is a 1 issue satirical parody comic about 4 Dude Bros who steal a spaceship and are transformed into 3 Magical Girls and a Sharkpony. The comic began it's life as an forum art challenge entry but was just too fun an idea so it became a full 22 page comic.

There are comic preview pages on the IndieGoGo page! There's also an amazing plush available (for a donation of $300, you also get other swag with it!) made by Robo-Shark:

Please take a look and if you can't donate at least spread the word on! If the fundraiser is Successful I plan to do another one next year for Paragon Ketch so I can focus on it and get the first few issues of it drawn since it will have to be printed as a Graphic Novel if it sees print because of the storyline!

Thank you for taking a look! Link to the IndieGoGo is above but in the event you don't/can't scroll back up here it is again:

Paragon Ketch and Short Stories

Why has there not been an update to the comic in...forever?

I've been busy! I had to take on more freelance comic work to pay the bills. Having one's own webcomic is awesome unless you have bills to pay and no "normal day job." I'm attempting to continue working on Paragon Ketch while working on polishing my Prose writing (and attempt to get a job writing a prose serial).

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, because I'm not. Life is work. Day to day, month to month, life is survival. I've been increadibly lucky in that I have been able to make ends meet, even when it's been barely doing so, by creating art for others. One day perhaps I will be in a position where I can dedicate more time to my own comic pursuits, but unfortunately that time is not now.

"But Neila! You just told us you've been spending time writing prose! You could use that time to draw Paragon Ketch!"

I could if my arm didn't feel like it was going to fall off. I draw with my right hand, but I can type with my left hand and keep creating. I've made an experimental Short Story Writing Blog: http://shortstoriesinprogress.blogspot.com/ That I will be posting short stories that I'm writing anyway on. Some of these short stories will likely be Paragon Ketch related so it's a good place to keep an eye on!

Now I will go back to typing up a short story and try to stave off beating myself up for not coloring the next Paragon Ketch page.
