This blog will now become the production blog with updates on works in progress and character designs.

Thanks for reading I hope you all enjoy the ride this comic will be! :D

I finally joined Tumblr and have posted a few WIP previews of Paragon Ketch stuff on there:
http://flailingcurrent.tumblr.com/
^^ This is a snapshot of a Illustration of Hal that's still in progress

vv This is a snapshot of the pencils for the Magazine Cover I need to finish before I can finish page 7 of PK.
There is also a dedicated Paragon Ketch website in the works, that I'll update you folks on here when it's online and functioning. I've had a bad go trying to figure out Comicpress and Wordpress, but I have a friend that said he'd help out. ouo

Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time to work on PK as I'm still neck deep in drawing The Trials and Tribulations of Miss Tilney: Available from Dusk Comics

I'll be at A-kon in Dallas in a couple weeks with copies of Issue 1 of Tilney, a few copies of Womanthology, some Panel Burst Sketchbooks and a few hats I made. A-kon 23 <---- Check it out! I'll also be hosting a panel called "Comics, from Thumbnail to Finish" so be sure to swing by and check that out too!

Thanks for reading!

Slow going.

While I haven't had much time to focus on Paragon Ketch, I am still working on it, but it's mostly on penciling pages after I work on other comic stuff for the day for pay.
Issue one of the 3 part miniseries I'm drawing for Dusk Comics comes out at the end of the month. http://www.duskcomics.com/
I'm midway through drawing Issue 2, which mean's I'm about half finished with it and also halfway to working on Paragon Ketch more often.
Aside from that I'll be helping out with some artwork on Womanthology Space this year too! http://womanthology.blogspot.com/

I'm also working with a friend to get a proper website set up for Paragon Ketch as well, and will post more here when and if that happens.

One day, one day I'll get all of Chapter 1 posted and finished. Arrg it can be so frustrating to be so close and yet so far!

OH, before I forget, I'll be at A-kon 23 in Dallas Texas this June 1-3 http://a-kon.com/
with comics and some Sharkpony Shirts and some crocheted hats to sell. I tend to crochet when I'm too tired to draw a straight line...

Till Later

Paragon Ketch ch 1 pg 6

It seems like it's been forever and a day since I posted a new Paragon Ketch Page! Let's hope there isn't that long a wait anymore between pages.

I am still drawing 2 comics for work right now though, I finished issue 1, but issues 2 and 3 still await, which I will be working on in the coming months, hopefully WHILE I'm working on PK. Of course I wanted to work on PK while doing Issue 1 but, there was a tourney too and it seems 3 comics full tilt is beyond my abilities at the moment.

This page is mirrored on My DeviantArt Page!

Paragon Ketch and it's characters belong to me. :D

Happy New Year! Things planned for PK this year

Happy New Year!

I know I haven't posted pg 6, that's because I haven't finished it quite yet. Holiday stuff and work have kept me a bit tied up, BUT I'm close to wrapping up Issue 1 of Tilney for Dusk Comics and something else is brewing.
Something I hope will be a big thing for Paragon Ketch, but it will mean that this will just become a production blog instead of where the comic goes up.

What am I getting at?

A site. A dedicated site solely for hosting Paragon Ketch. :)

I'll post more as it develops, but I did work up a basic site layout thing today, one I hope isn't too busy, but also isn't too boring. I don't want to distract people from the comic with the site and what have you.

Also it seems I made it to the last round in that Tournament on Deviant Art, so I have 1 more round to draw with Kaylee and Hal fighting other people's Original Characters, which will cut into my Paragon Ketch Production time, but it has been fun, and I've learned a lot. Namely that I can work on 2 big projects at the same time and make a good deal of progress (but not 3 apparently). I have been working on PK still, it's just been slow, and I have some pencils I need to clean, my pencils are really rough.

Off I go, back to inking on Tilney!
Happy New Year,
Let's ROCK!
